- Grandma Ruthie
- I am a mother of 4 and grandmother of 11. I live in a retirement community in Florida most of the year, but still have a cottage in upstate New York. I was happily married for almost 54 years, and I recently lost my husband quite unexpectedly. I was a Registered Nurse and have Bachelor's and Master's degrees. I have worked at various times as a nurse and as a teacher. My interests include: reading, knitting, crocheting, sewing, baking, writing poetry, embroidery, swimming, and a whole lot more. My children have given me experience with extreme food allergies, asthma, ADHD, spina bifida, learning disabilities, and genius. I also have 16 years experience as a home-schooling parent.
